After earning a degree from Ferris State University, Steve Fritz apprenticed with Charles Forman of CL Forman Art Services and today strong ties still prevail. During those early years, Steve worked for Forman doing interior layouts of Steelcase furniture, including individual pieces for their standards manuals. In 1982, with Mr. Forman’s help, Steve launched Steve Fritz Art Service. He worked closely with local builders and architects, developing different styles of rendering to accommodate the various needs of his clients.
Since it’s inception, SFAS has been involved in projects from coast to coast an internationally as far away as Saudi Arabia, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Vietnam, India, Russia, Aruba and Barbados. From large developments to small single family homes, Steve’s style can range from simple sketches to detailed renderings. Novi Main Street, Radisson in Kalamazoo, Marriot in Grand Rapids, Bay Harbor, Grand Traverse Resort & Spa and Singh Development’s Walden Woods Retirement Villages are just a sampling of many projects they have partnered on.
For over 30 years Steve Fritz has complemented the architectural and development communities. His services and artistic talent are not limited to interior and exterior renderings, but also works with plans, elevations, and aerial renderings which can be hand rendered or digitally modeled as well.
